WELCOME TO TIPEIL PLATFORM
The present platform has been realised to support the application, at experimental level, of the Digital Portfolio Model, as a tool and a methodology that TIPEIL project aims at divulging and improving, with the direct contribution of field operators and experts.
The research context to which TIPEIL project refers is the valorisation of knowledge and capabilities that young and adults, employed or unemployed, achieved within non formal and informal learning contexts, so as to foster their placement or re-placement in the labour market. Within this frame the partnership contributes to the identification of practices, tools and methodologies that can be shared by and transferred within different territories, promoting the exchange of assessment/valorisation experiences applied to informal and non formal learning.
TIPEIL offers to all organisations and professionals that will contribute to the development of the Digital Portfolio Model, the chance to share problems and solutions with other European subjects.
The datum from which we start is to focus the attention on individual learning, a knowledge implying skills, abilities and capabilities, potential or acquired, that must be read, understood and valorised, in order to be able to help persons to find, create or re-create their personal employment and living path.
Therefore, this platform and the methodology we propose are addressed in particular to organisations and operators (tutors, trainers, counsellors, etc.) providing guidance, counselling, training and employment services to subjects – young and adults – that, for different reasons, are at risk of socio-economic exclusion.
How to enter TIPEIL platform
To enter the platform is necessary to log in a username and password. Being an experimentation, partners have been provided of a series of 3 username and password each, to enter the platform. The passwords provided have to be shared with the operators/experts that will be working on the platform: it means that the operators must enter the platform only using the passwords provided. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER!
- Using username and password provided, Operators/experts must to log-in in the section “Operators Login”.
The registration form has been created for external users (not operators) only, without username and password. These users have to fill in the Registration Form provided. All data requested must be compiled.
Users must create their own password and send the form to the system (click “register”). To modify the data provided use the “reset” function. Once you have submitted your form to the system, you will receive an e-mail confirming the Username (e-mail address you have registered in the form) and Password created.

What does the platform offer ?
TIPEIL platform is articulated in three main sections:
- See portfolios, where all portfolios that have been uploaded in the system can be visualised.
- Create a portfolio. Here it is possible to upload all material considered necessary to create one’s own portfolio (audio and video files, documents, texts), using the forms provided.
- Modify your portfolio. This function allows users to modify and update a portfolio already uploaded in the system.
Supporting Documents and Technical Assistance
- Technical guidelines. How to use the Platform. A detailed guide has been worked out to make users familiarise with the platform. The information provided concern technical procedures and indications to upload in the system material having different formats and extensions (text, file audio, video, *doc, *jpeg, etc.). The guide is available in download (*ppt and *doc file).
- Technical Assistance contact. To report problems or ask for help has been created a specific e-mail address ( technical@tipeil.eu ). Please send your message, partnership technicians will answer you.
- Methodological guidelines. Making a Portfolio: the Process. The Digital Portfolio is most of all a Methodology. A detailed guide and Handbook has been worked out to make operators familiarise with the Methodology that TIPEIL project fosters. The guide is available in download on *ppt format, the Handbook is available in download on *pdf format.
